After many iterations of the new connector design were printed from PLA with our own 3D-printers, we finally received a test print made out of aluminum from our partners at FH Wiener Neustadt and Fotec.
During February 2018, the Austrian Space Forum conducted the AMADEE-18 Mars simulation in the Dhofar desert region, Oman, and we were part of it! A Tumbleweed prototype with a diameter of 2.25 m was tested three times.
After winning the national and regional stages of the Odysseus space contest, we were honored to participate at the international final at the Cité de l’espace of CNES in Toulouse, France.
